“I started blogging about wine in 2016 and to date, I have blogged about 163 wineries in South Africa. I do hope you enjoy some of the reads below.”
The Garden of Love at No.35/800 - Van Loveren Wines, Robertson
A guided garden tour with a free glass of MCC, an extensive food and wine pairing menu, great service, a gift shop, hikes, MTB trails and even a restaurant - what more could you ask for?
Picnic kiddy heaven at No. 33/800 - Ashton Kelder, Robertson
This is possibly the best place in Robertson to have a picnic with the kids. Complete with value for money picnics, sweet wine, food and wine pairings, a giant chess board and jungle gym.
No. 29/800 - Excelsior - Robertson
Mix, bottle and label your own wine whilst sitting on top of a dam. Food, wine, views, what more can you ask for!
No. 3 Asara - Stellenbosch
Asara Wine Estate is a hidden gem in Stellenbosch not far away from Spier. It is not only a Wine Estate but is also a Hotel and restaurant. The views are really amazing
