A dazzling New Year with Pongracz Desiderius MCC
I was in for a treat this New Year's with a 2008 MCC by Pongracz Desiderius. R430 a bottle, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Pink bubbly delight with Paul Réne MCC
A refreshing blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Paul René Brut Rosé is a wonderful summer wine to pair with decadent food such as Lindt Chocolate. R170 a bottle.
My magical trip to France in Franschhoek
This is the MCC and Champagne event of the year! Here's why...
Modern country charm at 39/800 - Boschendal, Franschhoek
One of the oldest and biggest farms you will come across in South Africa. There is so much to do here!
The Garden of Love at No.35/800 - Van Loveren Wines, Robertson
A guided garden tour with a free glass of MCC, an extensive food and wine pairing menu, great service, a gift shop, hikes, MTB trails and even a restaurant - what more could you ask for?
No. 31/800 - Bon Courage Estate, Robertson
Besides from the great MCC there is a fabulous café that does pink burgers! It is child friendly and the wine tasting is FREE!
Celebrating in style with Lanzerac MCC
What better way to celebrate the year’s successes and end off on a high note than with a glass of chilled bubbly. At a recent family gathering, I enjoyed tasting the Lanzerac Blanc de Blancs Brut Méthode Cap Classique (MCC).
