My magical trip to France in Franschhoek
What a fab time I had at the recent Franschhoek MCC and Champagne Festival in association with Mastercard. It was a piping hot summer's day so sipping on ice cold bubbly was just what the doctor ordered!
Tickets were quite high at R350 a pop but it was at the end of the day worth it! Free tastings coupons were loaded onto a Mastercard, you got a free glass and even a fan to cool you down. It felt like the coupons were limitless and the servings were pretty good too![wpvideo 0eShpHyM]I was transported to France! Literally with brands like this one...Piper-Heidsieck. 
I paid R550 for this bottle and got a free shoe which I could drink from in the most classy experience ever haha.[wpvideo RgzlKupX]
Everyone was dressed to the nines in black and white with a floral flair because there was a best dressed competition going down where you could win a Mastercard loaded with R5000!
If the classy people, MCC and French Champagne weren't enough, then you definitely would have felt satisfied with the classy live entertainment! Imagine this at your wedding! WOW! It is by Red Cello Productions and it truly felt magical!
Another French visitor was Veuve Clicquot and these fabulous ladies were turning heads left right and centre with their gorgeous hats, fans and umbrellas! This photo booth was pretty fun!
Even the gents were dressed to impress!
You could spot the stand from a mile off from these giant floating balloons.
This was pretty interesting too! It was the top of the Champagne bottle.
Of course, Franschhoek wouldn't be the same without some of our local brands who were rocking it. Check them out!

And when I got hungry, I tucked into these delicious spring rolls! Yummy![wpvideo 0748b3bH]It was boiling hot but you were literally never in the sun because there were tents and umbrellas everywhere!
To end off the day, I enjoyed meeting these gentlemen from GM & Ahrens. Aren't they looking fab!
