Pink bubbly delight with Paul Réne MCC
I recently celebrated my Mother's birthday and what better way to celebrate than with a glass of pink bubbly! The Paul René Brut Rosé 2014 has a very light pink colour and that is the fashion these days - rose gold!Pinot Noir is quickly becoming the wine drink of the summer season and this is no different.Made from a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay to give it a bit of depth. It certainly did get my taste buds going due to the taste of strawberries and cherries on the palate. It was absolutely bursting with flavour and would pair wonderfully with rich foods like Salmon or even Lindt chocolate. I would not recommend drinking this MCC without food. The best way to taste MCC is to hold it on your tongue and wait for the wine to drop below your tongue. Add a bit of Lindt Strawberry chocolate balls and you have a taste sensation in your mouth! R170 a bottle. So what wine will I review next?x
