Wineries I have visited in South Africa
My goal is to visit and review 800 wineries in South Africa. I have catalogued all my visits to date on Google so that you can follow along too!
My Wine Map
“I started blogging about wine in 2016 and to date, I have blogged about 163 wineries in South Africa. I do hope you enjoy some of the reads below.”
Modern country charm at 39/800 - Boschendal, Franschhoek
One of the oldest and biggest farms you will come across in South Africa. There is so much to do here!
The Garden of Love at No.35/800 - Van Loveren Wines, Robertson
A guided garden tour with a free glass of MCC, an extensive food and wine pairing menu, great service, a gift shop, hikes, MTB trails and even a restaurant - what more could you ask for?
Picnic kiddy heaven at No. 33/800 - Ashton Kelder, Robertson
This is possibly the best place in Robertson to have a picnic with the kids. Complete with value for money picnics, sweet wine, food and wine pairings, a giant chess board and jungle gym.
No. 30/800 - Bonnievale Wines, Robertson
I enjoyed this unique cookie and wine pairing experience at Bonnievale Wines for only R30. Read more about what this farm has to offer.
1 of 800 - Brenaissance, Stellenbosch
A contemporary getaway into the country just down the road from JC Le Roux on the Devon Valley Road in Stellenbosch.
