Here is my experience:
I tried an extremely unique cookie and wine pairing experience for just R30! Each cookie was explained and if you dare to read this image, prepare to have your mouth water in envy. The cookies were especially made for the farm to pair with the wines. The view was pretty good too, plus the sound of the waterfall was relaxing. The story of Bonnievale wines is quite interesting. It started in the 1900s when Christopher Rigg pioneered an irrigation canal which ensured a steady water supply to this very dry area. Today, Bonnievale produces a wide range of value for money wines. The indoor tasting room was quite modern.Plus there was a fire place for the winter months. Now if you take a close look at the image below, you will meet Sushi, Dawn and Dusk which is part of the Bonnievale Wines Friendly Wines range. It is low in alcohol and is slightly infused with bubbles!Sushi is fresh and crisp, Dusk is natural sweet and Dawn is semi-sweet. PLUS a bonis is that the alcohol level is a low 9.5%You can purchase it directly from the cellar online! It is only R210 for a box of 6 refreshing summer wines. Click on the image to go to the Bonnievale Wine shop.If you would like something different, you can even do tastings in the cellar itself. Bonnievale rents this area out for functions too.
