Boschendal says that they are proud to support local talent, and have carefully selected a diverse range of different acts, from Gypsy Jazz, Afro-Electro and home-grown Rock to covers of international hits.Boschendal is a family farm, so bring the kids and let them play on the Werf lawns while you laze in the sun with a chilled glass of vino and soak in some local sounds. There are hammocks and bean bags, large shady oak trees and blankets. There’s a scenic pavillion and all around you are the majestic and magnificent Drakenstein mountains. It’s a great place to laze away a Sunday.The only thing needed, now that the scene is set, is some lovely food. Your picnic basket will be filled with wholesome, artisinal treats from our farm produce. Boschendal offers the most scrumptious salads, picked fresh that morning from their very own Werf Food Garden, freshly baked baguettes, wonderful local cheese, homemade preserves, incredible free range chicken (thanks Farmer Rico), yummy desserts and to wash it all down, a selection of amazing wines.
