DHL Lounge Wine Event: Caroline’s Red Wine Review
This wine event is not to be missed as it will be held in the Members’ Lounge at the DHL Stadium in Green Point, Cape Town, located alongside Fritz Sonnenberg Road. It’s the 2024 edition of the annual Caroline’s Red Wine Review which will be held on Thursday, 25 July, from 17h00 until 21h00.
A World-Class Showcase
Hosted by Caroline Rillema of the renowned Caroline’s Fine Wine Cellar, this world-class wine event offers wine enthusiasts a rare opportunity to experience some of the Cape’s finest flagship red wines all under one roof. The evening promises an exclusive tasting experience, featuring 80 of South Africa’s most awarded and celebrated wines, with the winemakers themselves present to engage with attendees.
A Stellar Lineup of Wines
The event will feature a wide variety of top-tier wines, including Cabernet, Shiraz/Syrah, Merlot, Pinotage, Cinsault, Grenache, and various niche varieties. Attendees can also look forward to classic Bordeaux-style, Rhône-style, and Cape blends, making for an exhilarating wine event experience.

Event Details
Join Caroline and her team in the Members’ Lounge at the DHL Stadium, just outside Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront, from 17h00 to 21h00. Upon entry, attendees will receive a crystal tasting glass and a detailed list of wines available for tasting. Additionally, attendees can place orders to purchase wines from the list at a 15% discount compared to usual retail prices.
Ticket Information
Tickets for the wine event are priced at R495 per person. Secure, undercover parking is available for R60 per car. Both tickets and parking can be purchased via Quicket.
