Paired with the Nederburg The Anchorman Wooded Chenin Blanc 2017. Super light, crispy and full of flavour. It paired really well with the chenin.HQ fine wining salad starters For mains, a 250g Sirloin wet aged for 21 days and grilled perfectly medium-rare, served with skinny fries & café de Paris Butter. Paired with the Nederburg The Brew Master Bordeaux Blend 2015. The steak literally melted in my mouth PLUS the fries are BOTTOMLESS!
For dessert, vanilla & orange sponge crème patisserie with pistachio turkish delight ice cream. Paired with Nederburg The Beautiful Lady Gewürztraminer 2015. By this stage, I was so full yet this light dessert was so tasty, it didn't feel heavy on the stomach - after-all, there's always room for dessert :) HQ fine wining dessert Overall, the atmosphere was absolutely brilliant. Think Michael Bublé style music in the background (it was sung live by the talented Ricky Botsis), tastefully comfy decor, plus service on anther level - the waiters literally watch you finish so that they can take your plate away in one quick swoop - without you even noticing. Book your spots! The next dates are 4 April, 2 May, 6 June, 4 July, 1 August, 5 September, 3 October, 7 November.Booking details: 021 424 6373 or management@hqrestaurant.co.zaBooking essential as seats are limited.
