I don't even think this blog will do Spier the justice they deserve - there is so much to write about, I will be here typing for years haha. So I will give you a quick run down in pictures because hey - pictures speak a thousand words. The tasting room is very modern, minimalistic and sophisticated despite it being around since 1692. It's also very big, with tables that cater for small or large crowds. The chairs are quite uncomfortable after a while so be sure to plan your wine tasting for around 45 mins before heading off for a spa day, segway tour, picnic or lunch. The aim is to find the wine you like and then order it for your lunch later I guess. There is a small section of couches available.
I had such a super experience, no wonder Capetonians keep this as a regular favourite - there is even a train station within walking distance. Farms next door include Vredenheim and Asara. So which farm will be next? :)x
