SA's favourite combo! Pinotage and Biltong Festival
The best pairing in SA! The Pinotage and Biltong Festival is back coming 14 and 15 April! Get your tickets now because this festival is going to be #trending and you don't want to have #FOMO.This year the festival is at Perdeberg Winery in Agter-Paarl (closer to Wellington) from 11h00-17h00 on the Saturday and the Sunday. Tickets are R200 per person if you buy online or R230 at the gate. Tickets include the usual access to the venue, a branded crystal wine glass and a curated selection of 18 Pinotage and Biltong pairings. Yes guys - EIGHTEEN! One from each winery but there's a whopping 50 Pinotage’s for tasting and for sale so choose carefully!
The biltong is provided by Afrifoods & Butcher and so the pairings are specifically chosen to highlight the best qualities of both the biltong and the wine.That's not all guys, if you aren't a red wine lover, Pinotage is not always red - think Rosé’s, sparkling wine, MCC, blends and even a white Pinotage!If choices of wine weren't enough, there is plenty of food other than biltong too!Food trucks, an Oyster & MCC bar, Perdeberg’s own craft beer range, a kiddies play area and musicby the popular Guy Feldman and his band, offer the perfect day out for the whole family in theWinelands.Don't forget to wear purple and white outfits, shine on social media and win great prizes for thefunkiest outfits!
