Experience the Trophy Wine Show Public Tastings in June!
A Celebration of Fine Wines
The Trophy Wine Show, brought to you by Investec, is back with its highly anticipated single-night public tastings in Sandton and Cape Town. The 2024 winners will be announced on 4 June following which wine enthusiasts can look forward to sampling over 150 distinguished wines. You will be able to taste wines that received silver, gold, and trophy awards – all available for purchase through specialist wine retailer Port2Port.
Highlights of the Show
The event promises to showcase the best of the best, with highlights including the Best White and Best Red Wines of Show, the International Judges’ trophy winner, Discovery of the Show (best value wine), and Best Premium Wine. Attendees can also expect to see the medallists of the Most Successful Producer category. Additionally, museum-class vintages (at least four years old for white wines, eight years for red and sparkling) will be available for tasting, alongside new releases from beloved and lesser-known cellars.
Sandton Public Tasting
- Date: Wednesday, 12 June
- Venue: Sandton Convention Centre (Bill Gallagher Room), Maude Street, Sandton
- Time: 17:00 to 21:00 (No first entry after 20:30)
- Tickets: R295 each per single entry. Limited tickets are available. Each ticket includes a tasting of all wines, a delicious deli snack (value R100), and a tasting glass to take home. Discounts for Smart Shopper cardholders apply (two tickets for the price of one).

Cape Town Public Tasting
- Date: Wednesday, 19 June
- Venue: CTICC 2 (Hall 8), corner Heerengracht & Rua Bartholomeu Dias, Foreshore Cape Town
- Time: 17:00 to 21:00 (No first entry after 20:30)
- Tickets: R250 each per single entry. Limited tickets are available. Each ticket includes a tasting of all wines and a tasting glass to take home. Discounts for Smart Shopper cardholders apply (two tickets for the price of one). Light meals will be on sale.
